Khalifa Al Dosari Wins Speed Skating Silver in Special Winter Olympics

Qatari athlete Khalifa Al Dosari has won the silver medal in the SK speed skating 333M race at the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2017 in the Austrian city of Graz.
Al Dosari finished the race in 01:13.105 to take the silver medal behind China’s Zhi-Cheng Zhang who managed a time of 01:09.163. Austria’s Lukas Trojer took third place after finishing the race in 01:15.941.
The medal is the second for Al Dosari and the sixth for Qatar in the games despite participating only with a four-athlete delegation in nine competitions.
Abdulla Al Mannai won a gold medal in the SN snowshoeing 200M race, Hamad Jaber Al Behaih also won gold in the SK speed skating 222M race, while Al Mannai won silver in the SN snowshoeing 100M race and Al Dosari managed two silver medals in SK speed skating 500M and 333M races. Saoud Al Sulaiti also won a bronze medal in the SN snowshoeing 200M race. (QNA)
